Established in 1924, it serves a large area of central Nebraska and northern Kansas and is known for its advanced trauma center, emergency helicopter transport (AirCare), and nationally accredited cancer center. The hospital also features a Level II neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), a comprehensive neurosurgery program, and a primary stroke center. About the Facility Location Kearney, Nebraska is a central Nebraska city known as the Sandhill Crane Capital of the World, a college town due to the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), and a growing city with a historic downtown known as "On the Bricks". About the Clinician's Workday The facility is seeking an OB / GYN to provide inpatient coverage for the gaps they have. Providers should be comfortable with all OB / GYN procedures.The locum will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the service as well as any consult received during the assignment.
