Committee Description

The Genesee District Library serves residents of Genesee County. Their service area includes all of Genesee County except the City of Flint which is serviced by the Flint Public Library. There are 19 locations within the library district. Formed in 1980 through a partnership with Grand Blanc Township, the library board consists of 8 members. Four members are appointed by Grand Blanc Township and the other four are appointed by the Genesee County Board of Commissioners. Members serve four year terms.
