Job Title : Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be building large cooling units. This role requires comfort with hand and power tools, working with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling holes, piping, and metal tubing. You will receive hands-on training to utilize manual lifting devices and perform heavy lifting with team assistance. The work involves performing basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling. You will manually assemble inserted components per visual aids, upon verification of specifications. Additionally, you will inspect parts to ensure assembly accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build large cooling units using hand and power tools.
• Work with metal framing, copper tubing, drilling holes, piping, and metal tubing.
• Read and write, follow directions from leads or diagrams.
• Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.
• Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids.
• Inspect parts to ensure assembly was performed correctly.
• Utilize manual lifting devices and perform heavy lifting (team lifts).

Work Environment

Work in an extremely clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing site with the potential to grow into a 3 million sqft campus. The position requires steel toe shoes. The work hours are from 3 : 30 PM to 12 : 00 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.32 - $23.32 / hr.
