Job Title : Automotive Mechanic

Location : Allen Park, MI

Pay Rate : $19 – $29 per hour (based on experience) (Mechanic I, Mechanic II and Senior Mechanic

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM (overtime and occasional weekends as needed)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic II to work in a prototype vehicle environment. This is a hands-on role involving the modification, diagnostics, and repair of vehicles that are in development stages. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with a technical team.

Responsibilities :

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and modifications on cars and trucks in a prototype environment
• Follow repair orders, written instructions, and build procedures accurately
• Replace, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components
• Document all work performed, including service records and repair notes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Operate and maintain shop equipment
• Assist with team-based projects as required
