Registration Specialist

A company is looking for a Registration Specialist who will be responsible for registering patients and managing their demographic and insurance information.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-registers new patients and collects accurate demographic and financial information

Verifies patient identification and updates insurance and demographic details

Manages eligibility work queues and assists patients with insurance coverage questions

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred

0 years of experience required; 1 year of customer service or hospital registration experience preferred

Basic knowledge of insurance plans and medical registration systems

Familiarity with Epic or other hospital information systems

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
