Director Of Partner Management

Xumo, a joint venture between Comcast and Charter Communications, was formed to develop and offer a next-generation streaming platform for the entire entertainment industry. The company consists of three primary lines of business : Xumo devices, Xumo Play, and Xumo Enterprise. Powered by Comcast's global entertainment platform, Xumo devices feature a world-class user interface with universal voice search capabilities, making it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content. Xumo Play is a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service offering hundreds of linear channels and on-demand options. Xumo Enterprise provides tools and services for content creators, distributors, and advertisers to make FAST content more accessible.

Job Summary

The Director of Partner Management will be responsible for the management of Xumo operator partners. They will be responsible for the overall partnership strategy and success of all Xumo operators. They will own the success and performance metrics for existing partners, and will own identifying strategic actions to ultimately scale and retain critical partners. They may also negotiate terms and conditions of business agreements, and have experience managing professionals at manager, supervisor and professional levels. They will ensure the appropriate resources are allocated to achieve financial and business objectives, and will influence and integrate strategy within their functional area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee, be responsible for, and manage Xumo's portfolio of operator distributor partners.
  • Manages the company's operator portfolio with the objective of maximizing device deployments and driving retention.
  • Strategic influencer of company partner plans, agreements and competitive response.
  • Recommends responses and programs to competitive actions, evaluating business unit and Company objectives with internal investment, partnership opportunities and / or concluding partnership deals.
  • Partners with legal and with partners on company strategic plans, response, and agreements.
  • Manages department priorities and may serve as liaison to industry associations.
  • Manages, develops and motivates team members to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA- 4 days a week in office / 1 day remote.

    Bachelor's Degree While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast may also consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
