About The Position

Must-Have :

Must be capable of passing an EKG exam during onboarding.

Experience with Epic charting system required.

Description :

This position involves providing care to patients with observation needs, respiratory conditions, and general medical / surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities include caring for palliative and hospice patients, psychiatric observation, and managing diabetes in patients.

Candidates should have experience in blood product administration, chest tube management, colostomy care, and CPAP / BiPAP use.

The ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias is crucial.

Familiarity with IV management, pre / post-hemodialysis care, wound care, and telemetry is required.

Float to various facilities may be necessary depending on patient census.

Candidates should be flexible with scheduling and understanding of strict attendance policies.

Must be willing to work two out of four major holidays.

This role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

All candidates are required to complete compliance prior to the start of employment.

Knowledge of proper isolation precautions and infection control practices is essential.

The daily patient ratio is 6 : 1 on nights, and weekend duty may be required.

Previous charge nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
