Responsibilities

  • Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment, including the computer system and hemodynamic monitoring; maintains working knowledge of the cardiac catheterization lab.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education : Graduate of an appropriate accredited program or health science degree
  • Licenses / Certifications : BLS upon completion of orientation or after one month of hire; LVN, EMT-P, ARRT, or 2 years consecutive cath lab experience
  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : Input data into computer programs; maintain patient charts; compile statistics; generate reports; working knowledge of viewing equipment and sterile procedures; able to operate in two positions
  • Other requirements : OSHA Category 1 - High Risk
