Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Bike Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for residents and guests. Your visible presence and routine patrols, including bike patrols, will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and common areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or disturbances within the residential location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual observations according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management and / or local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Remain visible and approachable to residents and visitors to promote a welcoming environment while helping to deter unwanted activity.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Able to ride a bike for long periods of time.
  • Able to lift more than 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
