Who you are

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Counsel to oversee legal support, primarily with contracts, for our Aviation business. Our Aviation team focuses on equipping airports with Metropolis technology across the country. This role will have a significant impact supporting a team that is a critical part of Metropolis's growth and success. The position involves working closely with Revenue and Operations management teams and collaborating with other members of the legal team.

What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive legal support to the Aviation business, including major airport and airline clients.
• Act as a proactive and trusted business partner, offering legal and business counsel to stakeholders on contract-related issues, compliance matters, and risk assessments.
• Work with business teams to develop and execute legal strategies that protect and advance Metropolis's operations.
• Develop a deep understanding of our aviation services, technology business, and the broader urban mobility industry.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts including government client contracts, SaaS agreements, information technology agreements, joint venture agreements, and consulting agreements.
• Coordinate resolution of business disputes and manage outside counsel as needed.
• Provide essential support to the Assistant General Counsel and other attorneys within the department.

Base salary ranges from $175,000 to $190,000 USD annually and may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location. This base salary is part of Metropolis's total compensation package, which may include healthcare, 401(k), disability coverage, life insurance, stock options, bonuses, and more.
