    • 2-2-3 Shift schedule / hours :

  • Work : Monday & Tuesday – Off : Wednesday & Thursday – Work : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off : Monday & Tuesday – Work : Wednesday & Thursday – Off : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 12-hour static shifts (Days - 6 : 00am – 6 : 00pm)

    • Compensation :

  • Starting wage ranges from $20.00- $28.00 dependent upon experience

    • WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU :

    You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to :

  • Maintaining a safe working environment and good housekeeping conditions.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is completed properly and accurately. - Troubleshooting Electrical and Mechanical processes and controls as assigned.
  • Assembling and installing new production equipment.
  • Making mechanical repairs.
  • Electrical repair. (Replace motors, drives, fuses, etc.)
  • Performing roll changes as dictated by the production schedule.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints / schematics as they relate to electrical and mechanical requirements.
  • Performing facility maintenance tasks.
  • Operating electrical and mechanical test equipment.
  • Automation experience is a plus (Servo, Steppers, Drive, etc.)
  • Working as a team player to reach consistent output goals
  • Maintaining a safe workspace and commitment to following CNG’s Safety Mission

    • OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job / area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses / unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed

    • OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 1-3 years of plastic extrusion experience preferred
  • A driven team player looking to maximize their potential
  • A sound decision maker with strong communication skills
  • A strong understanding of our safety mission and its importance
  • Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or other similar skilled trades is desired along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
  • Experience with PLC’s, drives and industrial controls is desired.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn

    • Physical Work and Work Environment :

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and / or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature / humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
