We are seeking a talented, driven Associate Attorney with a passion for family law to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of family law matters from initial consultation through resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal briefs
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as needed
  • Client Counseling : Help clients navigate the emotional and legal complexities of family law with empathy and clarity
  • Settlement Negotiations : Work to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently, minimizing prolonged litigation
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide high-level service
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies
  • Stay informed on developments in Texas family law and related legal trends

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
  • Good standing with Texas Bar
  • Minimum 3 years of family law experience preferred (clerkships and internships considered)
  • Must have courtroom experience, including temporary hearings, motion practice, and trials, with a demonstrated ability to advocate effectively and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Technology Proficiency : Proficiency in legal research databases, case management software, and other technology tools that enhance legal practice efficiency
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Excellent judgment, ethics, and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Board Certification in Family Law or interest in pursuing certification is a plus
