Responsibilities Work in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting Night shift from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM Every other weekend and holiday coverage required Must be available through the holiday season Uses EPIC for charting and documentation Patient care requires knowledge of hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines Responsibilities include monitoring and managing critically ill patients in the ICU Closed book and timed ECG exam is required on-site prior to start; failure to pass may result in contract termination Study guide for ECG exam will be provided before the assignment begins All candidates must comply with facility COVID requirements as outlined during credentialing Facility has a call-off policy allowing up to 5 canceled shifts per contract Requirements Active New York State RN license Minimum 3 years of current ICU experience required Current certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) EPIC charting experience is required Experience with hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines required Must complete an on-site, closed-book, timed ECG exam with provided study material and achieve at least 85% Cannot reside in the following NY counties : Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany Previous full-time staff within the AMC network within the past six months or at this facility within the past year will not be considered Facility physical required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610951.
