Key Responsibilities
Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely claims processing
Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information and support patients with their inquiries
Submit claims, manage appeals for denied claims, and provide updates in the account management system
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
Strong customer service background and a positive attitude
Proficient in data entry, word processing, and MS Office applications
Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to changing priorities
