We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic team at the Albany Medical Center in the Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery Office . Position Details

  • Department / Unit : HBD - Otolaryngology
  • Work Shift : Day (Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM)
  • Location : Albany, NY
  • Salary Range : $46,220.72 - $64,709.01 ($27.00 / hr. - $37.32 / hr.)

Your Role

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in our clinic, working under the guidance of our attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Obtaining and accurately recording patient vital signs
  • Documenting patient history components
  • Communicating openly with patients, visitors, and staff
  • Assisting in in-office procedures under supervision
  • Performing diagnostic CLIA waived testing
  • Conducting venipuncture for lab testing
  • Managing prescription call-backs within your scope of practice
  • Preparing patient charts with pertinent clinical information
  • Maintaining inventory and stocking patient examination rooms
  • Adhering to regulatory compliance standards

    • What We’re Looking For

    To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / G.E.D. - required
  • Previous experience in a patient care setting - preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure upon hire - required
