Freeman+Leonard is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a retail client

This is a hybrid role in Plano, TX

REQUIRED : 5+ years’ experience in digital design, preferably at an advertising agency

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house creative team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive compensation and benefits, including health, retirement, paid time off, employee discounts, and professional development support.

The ideal candidate is a digital-first designer with strong eCommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience, an eye for detail, and a proven track record of creating compelling, conversion-focused design work. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure best-in-class branding, messaging, and performance across all marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop brand assets across digital and print, including websites, digital ads, eCommerce / DTC product pages, social media graphics, and supporting creative for video.
Design user-friendly website UX, UI, and page layouts; collaborate with the Creative Director to implement high-converting website experiences.
Create original brand identity work, including logos and companion graphic elements.
Design within retailer product page systems to create best-in-class product pages, image galleries, and enhanced content.
Build mood boards to support 3D renders, photography, and video production.
Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and leadership to produce polished, brand-aligned creative.
Contribute to group brainstorms and creative reviews, both providing and receiving constructive critique.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.

5–8 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in-house for consumer brands, retail, or eCommerce.

Strong portfolio showcasing concept-driven work across brand, digital, and campaign design.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD); familiarity with Figma or Sketch a plus.

Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, and brand identity design.

Experience designing for digital (web, social, email, eCommerce) and print (packaging, collateral, catalogs).

Understanding of responsive design and mobile / web best practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time-management.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with marketing, product, and creative teams.

Attention to detail with the ability to refine and polish deliverables based on feedback.

Bonus : familiarity with photography, illustration, motion graphics, or mentoring junior designers.
