Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and detailed estimates for multifamily, warehouse, and TI projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop detailed cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients during the preconstruction phase to develop cost-effective solutions.
• Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring scope alignment and competitiveness.
• Participate in value engineering exercises and propose cost-saving alternatives when applicable.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs using estimating software and Excel-based tools.
• Lead internal estimate reviews and present estimates to management and clients.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing for future use.
• Assist in the preparation of proposal documents, bid packages, and scope narratives.
• Mentor junior estimators and support staff as needed.
