Director of Analytics Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Analytics Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Analytics Engineering team, ensuring high performance and quality in data products

Drive the design and implementation of data models and oversee data pipeline development

Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to manage analytics project lifecycles effectively

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

10+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Expert-level proficiency in SQL and strong experience with DBT for data transformation

Proficiency in Tableau and a deep understanding of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms

Experience with ETL / ELT tools such as Fivetran, Stitch, or Airflow
