We are currently seeking a full-time Alarm Monitoring Specialist to join our state-of-the-art 24 / 7 Alarm Monitoring Center. This role will require working on a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule, including holidays and weekends.

As an Alarm Monitoring Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing outstanding service by responding to alarm signals promptly and accurately. Your responsibilities will include managing alarm events, verifying security details, liaising with emergency services such as fire and police, and keeping our customers informed. In this fast-paced environment, the role is akin to that of a 911 emergency dispatcher, necessitating quick thinking and meticulous procedure adherence.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Respond to incoming alarm signals using our automation software and document all actions accurately in the system.
  • Answer calls via a multi-line telephone system.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Typing speed of 30+ words per minute; a pre-hire typing assessment will be required.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Ability to perform duties with urgency and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A positive mindset focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Candidates selected for the role will receive paid training and must pass a final exam to certify their skills as an Alarm Monitoring Specialist.
