Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

Eastern Nebraska, near Oakland

6 : 30am-3 : 30pm

Various shifts available; includes weekend shifts

Standard emergency room (ER) responsibilities

Requirements

Active Nebraska medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license highly preferred

ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS (all required)

Recent experience in emergency medicine practice over the last 12 months or recent completion of an ACGME / AOA-approved Emergency Medicine residency program

Support and Facility Details

Emergency Room in a freestanding emergency department environment with hospitalist support on-site

Physician-led team including Advanced Practice Clinicians

Admits handled by dedicated hospital medicine team

Full specialty backup with a streamlined transfer process

Steady flow of both inpatient and outpatient emergency cases

Travel and Accommodations

IRS standard rate reimbursement

Reimbursement for actual expenses up to 1.5 times the local GSA rate if preferred lodging is unavailable

Credentialing Requirements

Approx. 60 days; completed applications required within 48 hours of receipt

Current CV, provider contact information, availability, NPI / license number, malpractice documentation, and references if available
