Receiving Associate 1st shift

Our client is a growing retail distribution company with a brand-new warehouse facility in Kentland, IN. They focus on efficiency, quality, and employee development. This position is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping things organized and moving smoothly.

  • Job Type : Temp-to-Hire
  • Job Summary : The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading shipments, verifying accuracy, and ensuring products are stocked into the correct bin locations to support efficient warehouse operations.

Job Duties :

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments
  • Inspect and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
  • Accurately input received products into the inventory system using scanners or computers
  • Stock items into proper bin locations using FIFO rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving and storage areas

    • Pay : $17.00 per hour

    Schedule :  Monday – Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM

    Experience or Skill Requirements :

  • Prior warehouse receiving or inventory experience
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse technology (scanner / computer)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
