Military Deception Planner
The Ascendancy Group is seeking a highly qualified Military Deception (MILDEC) Planner to support USCENTCOM's strategic deception planning and integration efforts. This role requires specialized training and experience in MILDEC operations, coordination with intelligence and operational elements, and synchronization with broader Information Operations (IO) and non-kinetic capabilities. This position is contingent upon contract award. A Top-Secret / SCI Clearance is required.
Roles and responsibilities include :
- Draft, coordinate, and execute MILDEC plans and orders to enhance operational effectiveness, reduce casualties, and protect equipment
- Provide subject matter expertise to USCENTCOM Component Commands for MILDEC planning, coordination, and de-confliction
- Assess MILDEC operations using defined Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE)
- Coordinate with Counterintelligence assets to ensure alignment and operational security
- Synchronize MILDEC activities with Computer Network Operations (CNO), Electronic Warfare (EW), OPSEC, and Military Information Support Operations (MISO)
- Support integration of MILDEC into Joint Planning Teams (JPT) and Operational Planning Teams (OPT)

Graduate of the Defense MILDEC Training Course per CJCSI 3211.01Graduate of a Service or Joint-level MILDEC training course per USCENTCOM R-525-35+ years of MILDEC planning experience3+ years of experience at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command HQ or Service Component HQ supporting a GCCPreferred skills include :
Deep understanding of joint deception doctrine and operational planningExperience working in high-level joint or combined headquarters environmentsStrong analytical skills for assessing deception effectivenessAbility to collaborate across intelligence, cyber, and IO communitiesFamiliarity with USCENTCOM AOR and strategic planning processes
