As a Security Officer - Government Site Patrol - Full Time in Brooklyn, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal supporting a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind for those on-site. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic settings and are committed to putting people first, working with integrity, and making a positive impact through teamwork and reliability.

Pay and Schedule

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Mon : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Tue : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Wed : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Thu : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM
  • Fri : 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You’ll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any unusual situations.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain clear and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
