Job Summary

Urology Specialists is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our in-office dispensary team. This role is essential in supporting daily pharmacy operations, including preparing and labeling medications under physician supervision, coordinating prior authorizations, assisting patients with financial assistance programs, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and a patient-centered approach in a specialty care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately prepare, label, and dispense medications under physician supervision

Process and track prior authorizations for specialty medications

Assist patients in navigating and applying for financial assistance programs

Monitor and maintain medication inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels

Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations as well as clinic protocols

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Completion of two years of training under a licensed pharmacist

National certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a patient-focused team environment
