Our work supports critical infrastructure for pharmaceutical research, biotech, and healthcare facilities. We are seeking a Sales Manager who knows how to build relationships where precision, compliance, and uptime matter.
Position Overview :
As the Refrigeration Sales Manager, you will lead our business development efforts within the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors. Your primary focus will be selling low-temperature lab retrofits and tenant improvement installations. You’ll act as a consultative partner to lab managers, facilities teams, and GC partners, helping them navigate complex refrigeration needs with confidence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage relationships with decision-makers in pharmaceutical labs, biotech companies, healthcare facilities, and general contractors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for low-temp refrigeration retrofits and TI installations.
- Conduct site visits, gather technical requirements, and work with estimating and engineering teams to deliver tailored proposals.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and service teams to ensure client expectations are met during installation and beyond.
- Track pipeline activity in CRM and provide accurate forecasting to leadership.
- Stay informed of industry trends, compliance requirements (GMP, USP, etc.), and competitor activity.
Ideal Candidate Has :
5+ years of technical sales experience, ideally in refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical systems.Deep understanding of low-temperature refrigeration applications in lab or healthcare settings.Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and manage complex sales cycles.Comfortable reading plans / specs and coordinating with technical stakeholders.Familiarity with tenant improvement construction and retrofit work.Self-starter mindset with a consultative, problem-solving approach.Preferred :
Experience working with pharma / life science clients or healthcare facilities.Existing contacts in the lab or facility management space.Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Compensation & Benefits :
