About the Role
As a Compliance Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in human research protections, providing oversight, training, and education to Navy commands and research partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape ethical research practices across a global enterprise.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert guidance on DoD, Navy, FDA, and federal human research protection regulations
- Conduct compliance site visits and prepare detailed reports
- Review IRB protocols, minutes, and institutional assurances
- Develop and deliver engaging training programs and educational materials
- Lead initiatives to improve training quality and regulatory awareness
- Create content for newsletters and other communications highlighting Navy research and regulatory updates
