An oncology provider in El Paso, TX is looking to bring on a Medical Assistant. This person will be responsible for triaging patients, rooming patients, recording patient data, taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, administering injections, and some of the scheduling for appointments. They will also need to keep the patient rooms cleaned, organized, and prepared for new patients coming in. It is important they can thrive in a fast environment, possess strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, they should be comfortable completing other administrative tasks, i. e. patient telephone calls for referrals, phone in prescriptions, patient education, as requested by their supervisor or physician. The provider they will be working with sees about 16-17 patients a day so they need to be comfortable in a fast paced environment.
