job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPreparing the operating room for surgery by arranging and sterilizing instruments and equipment Assisting in the selection of appropriate instruments and supplies needed for the procedure Maintaining a sterile field throughout the procedure Handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment Following infection control procedures and ensuring the operating room is clean and ready for the next surgery Documenting all necessary information in the patient's chart Completion of an accredited surgical technology program Certification as a Surgical Technologist Previous experience in a surgical or hospital setting Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control Excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and other surgical personnel Proficiency in the use of surgical instruments and equipment Knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures High School Diploma or equivalent Certification as a Scrub Technician from an accredited program 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization techniques 401k retirement plan Dental benefits Referral bonus Vision benefits Weekly pay
