First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

Department : MedSurg Women's Care Unit | RN

Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS and Current Illinois Nursing License.

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Hysterectomy, mastectomy, postpartum patients (mom's only), general medical / surgical patients.

Experience or 'Must have' skills : 2 years of experience in MedSurg. Must have experience with NG placement, foley placement, blood admin, heparin and insulin drips.

Shifts & Scheduling : 12 hour shifts- 7-730. Travelers will fill the shifts with the greatest need.

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per schedule period.

Holiday Requirement : Yes, will go in core staff rotation.

Floating Requirements : Yes, may float to other general medical unit s.
