Java developer

Location : Ft Lauderdale

Duration : 6+ months

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of working experience as a Java Application Developer, including J2EE and Web Services.
  • Experience with Rest API design patterns, Spring Security, OAUTH, Spring framework, and microservices.
  • Proficiency with development tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with operating systems like RedHat Linux and Windows, and databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience with Cloud Services on Azure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Java Tuning.
  • Experience with the Angular Framework, UI Design patterns, and scripting (JavaScript, XSLT, ANT).
  • Knowledge of JSSE for Encryption.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodology.
  • Prior experience in the Enterprise / Financial Industry is a must, preferably with high availability, high usage applications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is mandatory.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
  • Understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Design and develop modern and complex web applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability and performance.
