Office Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the administrative, accounting, and basic human resources operations of our firm located in Murfreesboro, TN. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day office functions, accounting, payroll, and some HR compliance, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general office operations including supplies, vendor relations, and facility coordination.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and support for the survey team.
- Maintain organizational records and other documentation.
- Coordinate internal meetings, team events, and administrative support.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Handle billing and vendor invoices.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Support external audits and liaise with accounting firms as needed.
- Administer payroll, benefits, PTO tracking, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Act as a liaison between employees and leadership for HR-related matters.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant experience.Understanding of accounting principles including general ledger, debits and credits, billing, and vendor invoices.35+ years of experience in a similar multi-functional role.Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and HRIS systems.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous office management or administrative experience.Understanding of payroll and accounting principles.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 / hr.
