Receiver

Join a family-owned business with deep roots in the Midwest. Our main distribution center is looking for dedicated receivers to help manage and streamline the flow of products to our 94 retail locations. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and organize received materials within the warehouse.
  • Utilize an RF scanner to accurately track inventory.
  • Pull and prepare orders for same-day shipments.
  • Stock and palletize orders according to work orders.
  • Secure pallets with shrink wrap for shipment readiness.
  • Collaborate with forklift operators to move materials as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners.
  • Strong inventory management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle material and perform order picking.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of manual labor experience.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

    Work in a large, multi-level distribution warehouse equipped with fans to help manage summer heat. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6am-4 : 30pm. The dress code allows for comfort with closed-toe shoes and casual attire like t-shirts and shorts during hot weather, provided clothing is non-offensive.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SIOUX CITY, Iowa.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 / hr.
