Sales Project Manager
Base pay range $80,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
- Assist in fulfilling branch marketing and sales goals
- Perform takeoffs from blueprints, develop estimates, write client proposals, administer contracts, develop project schedules and costing, supervise projects, and ensure quality control
- Prepare customer billings and assist in collection efforts as necessary
- Conduct ongoing business development with architects, owners, engineers, and general contractors
- Develop opportunities to initiate sales of Western's concrete / masonry restoration and waterproofing services
- Assist with implementing branch marketing goals to educate new and existing customers
- Maintain relationships with current and potential clients to market services and increase customer base
- Provide customer support from start to finish of all projects and maintain contact during and after completion
- Accurately estimate and price all work to maximize volume and profitability
- Prepare client proposals and follow up to close the sale
- Monitor and supervise the deployment of all projects to ensure quality and timely execution
- Interact with Superintendent and Foreman to meet customer requirements and timelines
- Document, coordinate, and communicate any project change orders to field and customer; ensure job files are maintained and complete
- Assist in training and developing sales and field personnel to enhance company personnel quality
- Maintain accurate and timely billings and assist in collections as required
- Maintain technical expertise by participating in appropriate seminars and training programs
- Contribute to operating effectiveness by developing internal and external branch relationships
- Join and participate in industry-related organizations to increase networking capabilities and develop new relationships and opportunities for work
Requirements
4+ years experience in commercial construction (concrete and masonry restoration preferred)High school diploma or equivalent is requiredA Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plusAbility to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications will ensure success and customer satisfactionIdeal candidate will be strong in sales and project management; the role requires someone stronger in salesA thorough knowledge of the construction industry is beneficialBenefits
