Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and self-directed Senior Mechanical Engineer to serve as a key technical leader on our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who can independently drive the design, development, and strategic improvement of our products. You will own critical innovation initiatives from concept to completion, working in close partnership with our other highly skilled technical staff to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that set the industry standard.

Key Responsibilities :

• Independently lead the design and development of complex new products and components from concept to launch using 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or Other).
• Drive the optimization of existing product lines for enhanced performance, manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work hand-in-hand with our other highly skilled technical staff on material selection, compound development, and performance testing when designing new products and providing technical expertise.
• Partner with the Quality department by providing mechanical engineering expertise for root cause analysis, technical validation, and process control.
• Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate product performance (e.g., flex life), material compatibility, and compliance with industry standards (FDA, USP Class VI, 3-A).
• Serve as a key technical expert, collaborating with manufacturing teams to resolve complex production issues, spearhead process improvements, and design critical tooling and fixtures.
• Take ownership of the creation and maintenance of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and other technical documentation, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Serve as the ultimate subject matter expert (SME), providing high-level technical support to sales, customer service, and clients on complex application challenges.
• Represent the company by attending and actively influencing industry standards committee meetings (e.g., ASME BPE, 3-A, EHEDG).
• Manage all aspects of critical engineering projects from initial concept through to production release, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
