Intern Frontend Developer (React)

Location : Chantilly, VA

Duration : Internship (with potential for full-time opportunity)

Type : Full-time

Exprinace : 5+ years

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Frontend Developer Intern with strong React.js skills to join our internal projects team. This role will give you hands-on experience building modern, responsive user interfaces and collaborating with senior developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js .
  • Collaborate with backend developers and designers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with attention to performance and scalability.
  • Participate in debugging, testing, and optimizing front-end features.
  • Assist in improving UI / UX based on user feedback and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of React.js (hooks, state management, reusable components).
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) .
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON integration.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience with Git / GitHub for version control.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of UI / UX design principles.
  • Exposure to frontend libraries like Material-UI, Bootstrap, or TailwindCSS .
  • Familiarity with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library).
  • Experience in academic or personal React projects.
