About The Position

Must-Have :

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience
• Cardiac stent placement
• Diagnostic catheterizations
• Laser-assisted procedures
• Scrub procedures
• Temporary pacemaker placement
• Scrub STEMI procedures
• IVUS / IFR / FFR experience

Description :

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is responsible for performing various diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.

BLS and ARRT R certifications are mandatory, and ACLS certification is preferred.

Candidates should be proficient in cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and laser-assisted procedures.

Experience in scrub procedures, temporary pacemaker placement, and IVUS / IFR / FFR is required.

Candidates should also be comfortable participating in STEMI procedures.

Shifts typically begin either at 6 : 30 AM or 7 : 00 AM, varying based on the start of the first case of the day.

Call shifts will be required, with an expectation of 11-12 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends of call per month.

Candidates should be able to maintain a sterile field and adhere to isolation precautions.

Special equipment experience, including IABP and Impella, is beneficial.

The technician will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support various procedures associated with cardiac care.
