WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, the Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities remain in good working order, safe, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. Duties include general repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests across the facility. Other expectations may include :
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing,and mechanical equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems
- Repair and maintain doors, floors, lighting, walls, ceilings, windows, and restroomfixtures
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, and drywall patching
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, and notify supervisor of reordering needs
- Work with outside contractors as necessary
- Snow removal during the winter, which may include shoveling and using a snow blower when necessary
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent
- Assist in moving furniture, assembling equipment, and event setup as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
High school diploma or GED.Technical training or certifications are a plusMinimum 23 years of facilities or building maintenance experienceBasic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systemsAbility to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsProficient with hand and power toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical laborValid driver's license and clean driving record preferredReliable vehicle during the winter monthsWillingness to work occasional overtime or be on-call as neededAble to work as part of a team with a great attitudeHigh standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work qualityAble to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as neededAble to work with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated, self-disciplined, and organizedAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or inthe futureWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
