Customer Relations Call Center Specialist - Temp

Location Fort Worth, TX | 76102 - Remote after training, must live in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX area!

Compensation & Schedule

  • $37,440–$43,680 annual ($18–$21 / hr.)
  • Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

This role supports customers by delivering high-quality service through a high-volume mortgage servicing call center. As the first line of resolution for account concerns, you will ensure regulatory compliance while strengthening customer satisfaction and retention. Your ability to manage complex mortgage servicing inquiries will drive success across the team and organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to internal and external mortgage servicing inquiries within defined timelines
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with professionalism and accuracy, specific to mortgage account servicing
  • Perform mortgage servicing tasks including escrow analyses, account updates, payoff requests, and credit bureau dispute handling
  • Clearly explain mortgage policies, servicing procedures, and account statuses to customers with patience and empathy
  • Support junior call center agents with guidance on complex mortgage servicing issues
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume call center environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex mortgage-related issues and communicate effectively with homeowners
  • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Internal message center and mortgage servicing CRM systems
  • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Strong listening and de-escalation techniques for sensitive mortgage servicing matters
  • Working knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations and compliance standards
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple servicing tasks simultaneously
