Our client, a leader in innovative thermal management solutions, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cutting-edge projects in electronics cooling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer (Thermal Experience Preferred)

Location : Laconia, NH

Pay Range : $112,000 +

What's the Job?

  • Conduct thermal research, design, and engineering projects to support the company's innovative solutions.
  • Evaluate challenging electronics cooling applications with customers and develop high-performance design concepts using advanced flow techniques.
  • Perform theoretical analyses, design sizing, and CFD simulations; interpret and communicate results effectively.
  • Design and execute heat transfer experiments, analyze data, and adapt models to improve product performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to project success.

What's Needed?

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with graduate-level work in two-phase flow and heat transfer.
  • Strong understanding of heat transfer physics, including conduction, convection, and radiation.
  • Experience with heat transfer experimental methods and CFD simulations, preferably involving two-phase flow.
  • Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
