Overview
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that
time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.
The Consumer & Business Risk Analytics team focuses on delivering analysis and insights for Credit and Product leadership across the General Bank.
This position performs analysis to identify factors that affect credit losses business growth, and sustainability. Assesses current processes, collects information, industry trends, and creates specifications to support business risk management. Determines improvements or solutions to address identified issues. Prepares reports by examining data, trends and business input. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts or assist in development of process enhancements and / or business knowledge.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis
Sources, compiles, and interprets data to provide recommendations to business and product leaders. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output. Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities. Conveys patterns, problems and areas of improvement.
Identifying Risk
Creates and implements methods of risk evaluation. Develops strategies or solutions to address evaluation results. May create models or simulation scenarios to test risk conditions.
Operational Support
– Periodic support for business analytical needs by responding to inquiries, identifying solutions, and working to help implement solutions. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units for non-credit purposes.
Identifying Objectives
Determines overall business needs through analysis and reporting. Assists in creating specifications, project plans, or other forms of documentation to communicate business initiatives to wider work group.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics.
SQL, Excel and Power Point skills.

Credit or underwriting training – preferred
Banking experience - preferred
