The Manager of I.T. is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. This includes managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all systems, hardware, software, applications and services across all departments in the organization.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site presence. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of our Houston, TX office and should expect to work on-site more than 50% of the time.

• IT Strategy and Vision : Develop and implement the company's IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with overall business objectives and growth plans. Ensure the IT strategy supports the strategic goals of the organization.
• Departmental Analysis and Improvement : Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions. Recommend new technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.
• Project Management : Oversee and manage all aspects of IT projects, including timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and within-budget completion of IT initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related communications. Regularly update senior management and stakeholders on the progress of IT projects and initiatives.
• Team Collaboration and Facilitation : Facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings, including Engineering, Operations, and Customer Support, to execute IT plans. Provide guidance and support to team members throughout project lifecycles.
• Performance Monitoring : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of IT initiatives. Monitor and report on IT performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Technology Integration : Oversee the integration of new technologies and platforms to enhance operational functionality and user experience. Coordinate with development teams to address any technical challenges that may arise.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks in IT operations and create mitigation strategies to address them. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during IT projects.
• Data Security and Privacy : Ensure the security and privacy of all company data. Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups to safeguard information.
• Team Leadership : Lead and oversee the team to develop a motivated, skilled, and cohesive team.
• 1 : 1 Meetings & Annual Reviews : Conduct regular 1 : 1 meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for continuous professional development and growth of team members.
• Additional duties, as assigned.

Work Environment

Fast-paced, dynamic office environment and may be required to work outside of regular office hours to resolve issues or complete projects of the department.
