Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and energetic, part time, Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging childrens intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you! This role will include closing our center at 6pm, and floating between preschool classrooms to ensure student ratio and MN Licensing standards are in compliance. The lead preschool teacher for the afternoons, will introduce projects and activities as well as free and structured playtime for the students each day.

Responsibilities

• Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
• Design a daily and weekly schedule
• Provide basic care and caregiving activities
• Communicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider required
• College Credits or CDA required.
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
