Responsibilities Position is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital Night shift schedule : three 12-hour shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 30 14-week contract assignment Floats to Pediatric unit required Sedation, trach, intubated, NAVA, Vapotherm, CRRT (minimal), and ICP / Bolts are part of patient care Expected to work every other weekend Bedside shift reporting, AIDET communication, and hourly rounding are expected standards on this unit Care includes providing sedation and managing advanced respiratory support technologies Must float within the hospital as needed Expected to participate in holiday coverage, with only one holiday RTO request accepted Orientation includes modules, up to eight hours billable COVID vaccine is not required Returning travelers may not work for more than one year (52 weeks) without a one-year break in service Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Minimum two years of recent PICU RN experience required Current BLS and PALS certifications required AHA certifications required before start Great customer service and communication skills, including AIDET practices First-time travelers will not be considered Must not reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility References required, including one from a supervisor Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626091.
