Job Title : Fuel Driver

Location : Kyle, TX

Schedule : Monday through Saturday or hours based upon business needs; home daily. Average of 55 hours per week

Shift Start Time : 6 AM

Description of a Fuel Driver :

We are seeking an experienced Fuel Driver to join our dynamic team. As a Fuel Driver , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of fuel products. You will be transporting fuel and must be well-versed in all relevant safety protocols and regulations related to fuel transportation.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of fuel handling procedures.

Qualifications of a Fuel Driver :

  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • 2 Years of Fuel delivery required (Gas, Diesel, Dyed Diesel)
  • Proven experience as a fuel delivery driver or in a similar role.
  • 5+ years CDL A Tanker and / or Bobtail experience preferred
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for transporting hazardous materials.
  • Excellent driving record with no serious infractions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities of a Fuel Driver :

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bobtail truck and fuel equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Drive in a safe manner, obeying and adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Drive to fuel loading terminal or bulk tank to load truck
  • Drive to customer site to dispense product via pump system
  • Must be able to climb, bend, push, pull repetitively
  • Report any vehicle or issues to management promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs and reports as required by company policies and regulations.
