Job Overview

The RN Manager, Infusion Center position, plays a pivotal role within the Infusion Center providing expertise and support to ensure the delivery of safe and effective IV therapy. The Manager is responsible for the overall operation and clinical quality of an infusion center, overseeing staff, patient care, compliance, and financial aspects of the unit, ensuring safe and effective delivery of infusion therapies while adhering to all regulatory standards and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. The Manager collaborates with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and efficiency of care as well as provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process per established standards of care, policies, and procedures. The manager demonstrates performance consistent with AltaMed's vision, mission, and strategic plan. Lastly, the Manager remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats co-workers, patients, families, and members of the health care team with dignity and respect.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Master's degree in nursing, health services, business administration, or management preferred.
  • Current valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing is required.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI), is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years full-time equivalent experience in an Acute Care, Infusion Center, or Home Health / palliative / hospice care.
  • Minimum of 1 year of infusion experience is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of chemotherapy infusion experience or chemotherapy certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory managerial experience preferred.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Vascular access device experience is required.
  • Chemotherapy certification is preferred or must be obtained within 90 days.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.

Compensation

$109,408.00 - $136,760.00 annually
