About the Job :

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of heavy equipment in a crushed stone or sand and gravel quarry environment. The Multi-Skilled Equipment Operator will demonstrate proficiency in operating loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other equipment as needed to support quarry operations and achieve production goals.

What You'll Do :

• Maintain precise control of each piece of equipment, adapting to varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections of all equipment operated, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Performs a wider range of equipment operation tasks with increased independence.
• Begins to contribute to production goals and efficiency improvements.
• Takes initiative to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Expands skills and knowledge by cross-training on different equipment types.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hourly Range. The base hourly range for this role is between $35.00 - $45.00 per hour . This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
