Accountant (Wilmington)

Jefferson Wells Accounting Professional Opportunities

Jefferson Wells is looking to network with accounting professionals who are available for contract / consulting jobs. Most of these projects are remote, with some hybrid and local opportunities in the metro Philadelphia market. W2 hourly rate based on experience and client requirements : $50 $85 per hour.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following :

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Organize and update financial records as needed
• Analyze transactions and prepare reports
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments
• Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable / receivable
• Participate in budgeting processes
• Brief senior managers regularly on the company's financial status
• Liaise with tax accountants to track tax payments and returns
