• Professional development and growth opportunities\n\nJob Summary : Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in our 24 bed, Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room, ranked #2 in Lifepoint Health. As an RN in our ER, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n
• Patient Care : Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other medical emergencies.\n
• Assessment and Triage : Quickly and accurately assess patient conditions, prioritize care based on severity, and initiate appropriate interventions.\n
• Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.\n
• Trauma Management : Administer life-saving treatments and interventions for trauma patients, including wound care, medication administration, and emergency resuscitation.\n
• Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and positive patient outcomes.\n
• Documentation : Accurately document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.\n
• Education and Support : Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.\n
• Compliance : Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all patients and staff.\n\nQualifications and requirements\nApplicants should have a current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.\n
• Required Certifications\n
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire\n
• ACLS & PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 month of employment, if not current upon hire.\n
• TNCC - Preferred\n
