What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Implement effective training methods and curriculum for students diagnosed with autism and related disorders
  • Manage the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process, including scheduling and development of goals
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to create and implement program modifications and strategies
  • Complete required paperwork, including assessments and progress reports
  • Guide Behavior Technicians in supporting students' academic interventions

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Certification as Licensed Intervention Specialist in the State of Ohio
  • 1-2 years of experience working with students with autism and related disorders

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Teaching experience through field placement, student teaching, or employment
  • Experience specifically with students with autism and / or behavior disorders
