PRIMAY PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY

To maintain and troubleshoot industrial water purification systems and equipment. To perform a variety of repairs, troubleshooting, electrical and / or maintenance duties on process pure water systems. Secondary duties will include assisting maintenance of industrial facilities systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs daily preventative and corrective maintenance to mechanical and electrical equipment related to manufacturing support systems focusing on water purification systems.
• Performs instrumentation, electrical and computerized system troubleshooting and repairs with assistance of Plant and / or vendor engineering.
• Maintain, repair and trouble shoot pure water systems and equipment within the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on water purification equipment including DI / Carbon exchange, Reverse Osmosis and EDI equipment.
• Perform filter changes and water sanitization procedures.
• Maintain neat and orderly work areas.
• Review and follow safety procedures for all equipment. Comply with company policies and OSHA.
• Familiarity with cGMP, OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Perform preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, safety checks, repairs, installations and modifications on Facilities equipment.
• Performs other maintenance duties as requested such as :

Supports equipment validation activities.
